Starting from the very first IEEE SENSORS Conference that was held in Orlando, Florida, in 2002, the Special Sessions have always been a fundamental element in the conference program and have helped to make the conference a successful meeting for hundreds of experts presenting their research work every year. Also, for this year's conference, different topics that are of interest for the scientific community will be presented in Special Sessions. Each of the Special Sessions consists of five presentations (one invited speaker and 4 support papers). Special Sessions are the perfect opportunity to obtain a focused view on a current research topic and to participate in in-depth discussions with other scientists.
